the A architects is a small Port Elizabeth based practice dedicated to
personalised & collaborative architectural services. We believe that architecture is the stage upon which our lived play out, and the stage has the power to impact our lives. Life is made up of all the small things we do every day; cooking a meal, eating as a family, working in the office, taking a bath. Here at the A, we think every space should make those small experiences as magical as possible so that all those small things add up to a better life. Each family or business have different needs, as much as each site and building give particular cues and constraints; weaving those together through a clear concept and careful planning is what makes each design unique.
